valentine’s

This seemingly relentless winter of 2014 is forecast to bring yet another round of snow and ice to the southern USA. The storm could then head up the East Coast, unleashing a blast of winter misery across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

Jump on a plane and come to the warm weather for your 2014 Valentine’s gift.  Enjoy our sun, warm weather, beaches and adventure tourism. Costa Rica, a country of 4.7 million inhabitants and home to 4.5% of the planet’s biodiversity, awaits you.

“Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday this year, and many local tourism businesses are offering discounts on hotels, local flights, one-day tours and romantic dinners. Most discounts last throughout the weekend, but some extend for up to a month, National Tourism Chamber (CANATUR) President Isabel Vargas said. Promotions include beach and mountainous destinations, and even romantic evenings in the Central Valley.

Perks for couples include discounted one-day tours, accommodations with spa treatment packages, cheaper flights with accommodation included and serenaded dinners. Among the many destinations taking part in the Valentine’s Day specials are Monteverde, Río Celeste, Guápiles, Manuel Antonio, Dominical, Playa Ballena, Cahuita and hotels and restaurants in San José.” (Source: ticotimes)
