Ash and gas eruptions from the Turrialba Volcano

Tuesday May 21st. Local communities in the eastern part of the central valley reported falling ash after the Turrialba Volcano erupted this morning. The volcano has been more active recently and volcanologists are studying and monitoring it closely.
