Day 1: Upon your arrival in Costa Rica
you will be met by our representative and taken to your
hotel.
Days 1 - 2: 1 nights accommodation
at a Hotel in or near San Jose.
Days 2: Today you will get to experience
the thrill of rafting along the Sarapiquí River.
The Sarapiqui River flows crystal clear through virgin
tropical forests and has an incredible array of wildlife.

Days 2 - 4: 2 nights accommodation at a Lodge
in the Sarapiquí area.
Days 3: Full day to explore the OTS La Selva
- a research station and biological reserve of the Organization
for Tropical Studies. (BLD).
Days 4: Depart Sarapiquí for
Arenal. Todays activities include La Fortuna Waterfall
where you hike down a 500 meter trail, through lush
forest to the base of this spectacular waterfall and
swimming hole. (BLD).
Days 4 - 5: 1 nights accommodation
in Arenal Volcano area.
Day 5: Morning hike Arenal Volcano National
Park, then depart for Monteverde, one of the most diverse
and richest tropical cloud forests in the New World.
(BLD).
Day 5 - 7: 2 nights accommodation at
a Lodge in the Monteverde area.
Day 6: Morning walk the Monteverde
Cloud Forest Reserve, home to the Resplendent Quetzal
and hundreds of other birds, mammals and plant species.
In the afternoon hike a trail with a series of suspension
bridges. (BLD).
Day 7: Depart Monteverde for your hotel
in Manuel Antonio (BLD).
Day 7 - 9: 2 nights accommodation in
Manuel Antonio at a Hotel in the area.
Day 8: Morning tour of Manuel Antonio
National Park. Manuel Antonio is one of the country's
most popular parks because of its unique mix of beaches
and forest trails. (BLD).
Day 9: After breakfast depart for San
José, stopping en route at the artisan town of
Sarchi. (BLD).
Day 9 - 10: 1 nights accommodation
at a Hotel in or near San Jose.
Day 10: Departure transfer for your
International flight home. (B).

Costa Rica Accesible
Day 1: Upon your arrival in Costa Rica
you will be met and taken to your hotel.
Days 1 - 2: 1 nights accommodation
at Hotel near San José.
Days 2: Morning bisit to Inbioparque
en route to Sarapiqui. Inbioparque is located in Santo
Domingo de Heredia 20 minutes from San Jose, in an area
of 20 acres, enjoy an interactive exhibition and interpreted
trails, where you will learn, in a pleasant and interesting
way, about Costa Rica's experience on conservation and
sustainable uses of Biodiversity. Enjoy lunch on site
and then continue to Sarapiqui. (BLD).
Days 2 - 4: 2 nights accommodation at Lodge
in Sarapiquí area.
Days 3: Morning at La Selva - a research station
and biological reserve of the Organization for Tropical
Studies.More than 450 species of trees, 400 species
of birds, 113 species of mammals, 81 species of reptiles,
& 48 species of amphibians have been identified.
This evening venture back into the forest for an unforgettable
experience of a night tour. (BLD).
Days 4: Morning boat trip down the Sarapiquí,
where you may see cayams, howler monkeys, turtles and
birds. Afternoon drive to Arenal, one of the world's
most active volcanoes. (BD).
Days 4 - 6: 2 nights accommodation
at the Arenal Observatory Lodge, which offers spectacular
views of the volcano's imposing profile and Lake Arenal.
The property encompasses acres of untouched rainforest,
and is home to hundreds of species of birds and wildlife.
Day 5: Day to enjoy the beautiful, accessible
grounds of the Arenal Observatory Lodge. (BD).
Day 6: After breakfast depart for a
scenic drive heading west to Playa Jaco on the Central
Pacific Coast (BL).
Day 6 - 8: 2 nights accommodation in
Jaco/Carara area.
Day 7: Morning enjoy the Pacific Aerial
Tram where cars glide on a breathtaking journey below,
through and above the airy canopy of the rainforest.

Day 8: Morning at Carara National Park.
Carara contains flora and fauna from both the hot dry
northwest, and the rainy region of the southwest. Carara
offers excellent wildlife viewing. Depart for San José,
stopping en route at the artisan town of Sarchi (B.L).
Day 8 - 9: 1 nights accommodation in
a hotel near San José.
Day 9: Departure transfer for your
International flight home. (B).

Tour de Agro
Day 1: Upon your arrival in Costa Rica
you will be met and taken to your hotel.
Days 1 - 2: 1 night accommodation at
a Hotel in or near San Jose.
Days 2: Morning flight(s) to Tiskita,
a private experimental tropical fruit farm and rain
forest reserve on the southern Pacific coast. (BLD).
Days 2 - 4: 2 nights accommodation at Tiskita
Jungle Lodge including daily meals and activities.(2B2L2D).
Days 4: Morning flight to San Jose, then drive
to Cartago to visit various vegetable farms and to Cerro
de la Muerte, an area of tropical alpine vegetation.

Days 4 - 6: 2 nights accommodations
at a Lodge in the Cerro de la Muerte area.
Day 5: Full day to explore the highlands. In
addition to birding visit local farms. (BLD).
Day 6: Today you will enjoy a visit
to a coffee farm and mill in the Orosi Valley and a
dip at the hot springs at Valle Caliente before continuing
on to Turrialba. (B.L.D).
Day 6 - 7: 1 night accommodations at
Hotel or Lodge in the Turrialba area.
Day 7: Morning visit the Centro Agronómico
Tropical de Investigación y Enseñanza
(CATIE), one of the five major tropical research centers
in the world. CATIE's facilities include greenhouses,
orchards, forest plantings, a dairy, a herbarium, and
a seed conservation chamber. Afternoon drive to Sarapiqui.
(BLD).
Day 7 - 9: 2 nights accommodation at
a Lodge in the Sarapiquí area.
Day 8: Morning tour of the OTS La Selva,
a research station and biological reserve of the Organization
for Tropical Studies. Afternoon tour a banana production
and packing plant in the area. (BLD).
Day 9: Depart Sarapiquí for
San José, stopping en route at the La Paz Waterfall
Gardens. (B.L).
Day 9 - 10: 1 night accommodation at
a Hotel in or near San Jose.
Day 10: Departure transfer for your
International flight home.
