Mountain Biking / Rio Pacuare 3 days / 2 nights Day 01: Mountain Biking. Enjoy a full day of Moutain Biking in the Cartago or Turrialba area. You will be able to explore the beautiful countryside as you ride your bikes. Generally we bike between 3 and 5 hours depending on conditions. Overnight in Turrialba at selected Hotel. (BL) Day 02: Pacuare River Camp. You will be picked up at your hotel in Turrialba and depart for the river. At the river, your guides will give you a safety orientation, then you'll board the boats and enjoy about 8 miles of rafting, stopping along the banks of the river for a picnic lunch. Along its course lie several densely vegetated gorges, which shelter ocelots, monkeys, sloths and a large variety of birds. Warm water and breathtaking scenery combine to make an unforgettable trip. Though there are Class IV (intermediate) rapids on this river, an adventurous first-time rafter will find it thoroughly enjoyable.
