| Ely
Marín
Ely
was born in Curridabat, one the first colonial towns
of the central valley. He began working for Costa Rica
Sun Tours 15 years ago, and since then he has been guiding
travelers to every area of the country.
Ely says, "CRST has been the only tourism company
I have worked for and I am extremely happy as a driver-guide;
my passion for the animals, the abundant wildlife, and
the diverse nature of my country grows stronger day
by day." Ely is a very experienced driver-guide
and CRST feels privileged to have him as part of the
team. |

Marvin Ugalde "Gallina"
With
his famous nickname, Gallina or "Chicken",
Marvin is one the most experienced drivers in Costa
Rica. He has been in the field of tourism for almost
20 years. He literally knows every road in Costa Rica!
Gallina especially enjoys looking for his relatives,
the birds! He is a very good observer and finder of
rare species and CRST is very happy to have him on our
team of drivers. |
Carlos Quesada
Carlos,
or "Charlie", was born and raised in Costa
Rica. He received his degree in "Producción
Pecuaria", but his real passion is tourism so he
has been working as a bilingual guide/driver for CR
SUN TOURS for 12 years. Charlie has a great sense of
humor and enjoys sharing it with his customers. In his
free time, Charlie is usually training for his next
marathon; he successfully completed marathons in Chicago,
Boston, and Los Angeles. Charlie loves the adrenaline
that comes with a race, however, he was in heaven when
got the chance to leisurely run in the Olympic Stadium
in Athens, Greece. |
José Ramírez "Conejo"
José
has been working for CRST for several years. A native
from the "witch town" of Escazu, he loves
mountain biking and driving people around Costa Rica.
José is an extremely kind and patient person.
In the future José would like to improve his
English and become a driver-guide. All of José's
fellow guides fight to work with him because of his
kind and patient personality. He's a perfect companion
to tour with while in Costa Rica! |
