In the comfort of a covered boat, you will slowly enter the little-known watery realm of a tropical mangrove forest while your guide skillfully navigates through the canals and points out interesting features of this very important, complex ecosystem.  The unusual vegetation is adapted to living in the tidal zone, a constantly changing environment between dry land and the open ocean.
