In the comfort of a covered boat, you will slowly enter the little-known watery realm of a tropical mangrove forest while your guide skillfully navigates through the canals and points out interesting features of this very important, complex ecosystem.  The unusual vegetation is adapted to living in the tidal zone, a constantly changing environment between dry land and the open ocean. Here you will likely also see a variety of wildlife.  You may encounter white-faced monkeys, colorful tree-climbing crabs, numerous species of water and forest birds, and more. The tour includes roundtrip transportation from your hotel, local guide and lunch.
