The Rio Savegre is a beautiful river that descends through pristine forests from the high Talamanca Mountains down to the pacific coast. In its lower stretches it forms rapids that are classed as level III and IV suitable and fun for adventurous rafters with little or no experience. Your tour begins with an early morning pick-up at your hotel and then a very scenic drive into remote backcountry to the river’s put-in point. After a short briefing and safety talk, you are then off to proceed down river with your guide! There are great swimming holes to enjoy en route, and always a chance to see wildlife along the river. The tour includes transportation, rafting guides, equipment & lunch.
