Your ecotourism experience begins with two days in wildlife-rich Tortuguero National Park, known as Costa Rica’s “little Amazon”. Then fly back to San José where you will be picked up and be driven to Arenal Volcano. After exploring Arenal Volcano´s lush rainforests travel west through rural Costa Rican villages, dairy farms and coffee plantations en route to the cool mountain forests of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, and its unique rural Quaker/Tico community.

Day 1. San José arrival transfer
Day 2. Flight to Tortuguero National park and kayak rainforest canal tour
Day 3. Morning hike & afternoon boat tour at backwater canals
Day 4. Boat out and transfer to Arenal Volcano
Day 5. Exploring walk at Arenal Volcano area & hanging bridges
Day 6. Lake crossing to Monteverde & cloudforest hike
Day 7. Morning zip line canopy tour. Afternoon at leisure
Day 8. Depart to International Airport or continue on a beach extension
