The Corcovado Canopy Tour is comprised of thirteen elevated platforms connected in a series by long, thick cables. You’ll traverse across the forest canopy using a safety harness attached to a pulley that rolls along the cables. The height of each platform varies, however the highest will bring you over 30 meters (98 ft.) above the forest floor. The cables range from 190 meters (623 ft.) up to 400 meters (1,312 ft.) in length! This is a fun and exciting way to experience the tropical forest-among the tree tops and “flying” through them! Excellent place for wildlife observation, monkeys, macaws and toucans are possible.
From December to march whales can be seen both in the pacific coast and in the Caribbean coast, and March is a good time to look for the Humpback Whales with their babies and dolphins families.
